1.Messaging

Send business SMS and MMS only to people who have given consent, honor opt-out keywords such as STOP immediately, and identify your business in messages.

Register your brand and messaging use case where carriers or regulators require it (for example 10DLC in the United States, or DLT in India) before sending. Do not send content that differs from the registered use case.

  • No unsolicited bulk messages, purchased or rented lists, or sending across many numbers to avoid filters.
  • No URL shorteners that hide the destination, and no content in categories carriers prohibit, such as illegal drugs, unlicensed financial offers, or adult content.
  • See Business messaging compliance for consent, registration, and opt-out rules by country.

2.Calling

Follow telemarketing, do-not-call, robocall, and caller ID rules that apply to you. Do not spoof caller ID or display a number you are not authorized to use.

Do not use the service for auto-dialed or prerecorded calls without the consent the law requires, for traffic pumping, or for calls to premium or high-cost destinations intended to generate revenue. See Outbound calling and caller ID.

3.Recording, monitoring, and transcription

Give the notice and get the consent that the law requires before recording or transcribing calls and meetings. Do not record where recording is prohibited, and do not use recordings for purposes you did not tell people about. See Call recording and monitoring.

4.AI agents

Tell callers when they are speaking with an AI, offer a way to reach a person, and do not use AI features to impersonate a real person, clone a voice without that person's consent, mislead callers, or make decisions with legal or similarly significant effect about someone without human review. See the AI agents terms.

5.Security and integrity

Do not probe, scan, or test the service for vulnerabilities without our written permission (report issues through the Vulnerability disclosure page), share credentials between people, bypass usage limits, or interfere with other customers.

6.Unlawful and harmful content

Do not use the service for fraud, harassment, threats, hate, exploitation of children, illegal content, malware, or to infringe others' rights. Do not use it to evade sanctions or export controls.

7.Reporting abuse

Report abuse of the service, such as spam from a Callfora number, to support@callfora.com with the number, date, and an example. We investigate promptly and may share details with carriers and authorities.

8.Enforcement

We may block traffic, suspend numbers or accounts, or end the service when use breaks this policy or a carrier or regulator tells us to. Where possible we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. Immediate action may be needed for fraud, security, or legal reasons. We may pass on fines or charges that carriers impose because of your traffic.
